Respected Principal, Teachers, and My Dear Friends,
A very Good Morning and Happy Independence Day to all of you!

Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of our great nation, India. On this day in 1947, our country became free after more than 200 years of British rule. It was a moment that changed the destiny of our nation forever.

Independence did not come to us as a gift. It was earned through the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters—leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Sardar Patel, Rani Laxmi Bai, and many more who gave their lives for the dream of a free India. Their courage, determination, and love for the nation continue to inspire us every single day.

This year, the theme of Independence Day 2025 is “Nation First, Always First”. It reminds us that our responsibilities do not end with enjoying freedom; we must contribute to the progress of our country.
